About Us
We are AlpWine, an independent, local importer of sustainable, high-quality wine and related products, made with the greatest care and attention by only the finest producers. Being based in the Alps, we are lucky enough to have a fantastic variety of regional delicacies on our doorstep but we have made it our mission to move slightly further afield in search of cool, lesser-known items to bring to our customers. We specialise in providing businesses with products that we are sure their clients will love, all the while making sure that sustainability is at the forefront of our thinking.
We believe in allowing nature to do its best work with as little human interference as possible. This is why our focus is on biological wines form trusted producers that share our philosophy of respecting the terroir and letting the wines speak for themselves.
It has been said that life is too short to drink bad wine, and that is something that we fully agree with! You will therefore only find high quality, biological wines in our selection, that are a testament to the skills of the winemakers we sournce our products from.
A key factor in our sourcing strategy is to work collaboratively with smaller, independent procuders that have the freedom to chose sustainable production methods over profit maximisation.
